My favorite thing about traveling is the cultural nuances. I love that the Vietnamese still where cone hats and Ao Dais (traditional dress). It's also a great place for history buffs.
Dragon Boat
See this outfit? Nice and cool right? What you don't see and what I failed to realize, was the satin lining this skirt had. The heat of Vietnam combined with the mountain hike we took that day made this lovely summer ensamble feel like my legs were trapped in saran wrap. Oh yeah, and here I am next to a dragon boat at a temple.
